How do I qualify to rent a car from U-Save Car & Truck Rental?

At the time of rental you must present your driver's license, proof of current auto insurance and a major credit card that does not have 'debit' or 'check' imprinted on it.

All renters must be at least 21 years of age; renters aged 21 - 25 charged an under age driver fee.

Can my spouse drive the rental?

Yes, otherwise eligible to drive, (valid driver's license and over 21 years of age), spouses are automatically included on the rental agreement at no additional charge.

Do you offer airport pick up?

We offer airport pickup and delivery at no extra cost.

What other charges should I expect?

Fuel: Your U-Save Car & Truck Rental comes to you with a full tank of gas, if you choose to have us replace the fuel you will be billed $3.75 per gallon plus tax.
Cleaning Fee: We take great pride in offering the nicest rental cars available and therefore we strictly enforce a no-smoking or animals policy. The cleaning fee for violations of this policy is $200.00 plus tax

Can additional people drive my rental car?

Additional drivers are allowed so long as they present a valid driver's license and insurance. Additional, non-spouse drivers are subject to a charge of $5.00 per day.

Is there an After Hours Return?

U-Save Car & Truck Rentals must be returned to the location that it was picked up from. If the return is afterhours or on Sundays, be sure to replace the fuel, lock the vehicle and return the keys to the afterhour's key drop located by the dealership service department. Your contract will be closed when the location next opens and you will be billed until that time.

Using Debit cards:

All renters must have a major credit card in their name that does not have debit or check card imprinted to rent. Final charges may be paid for with a debit card.

What happens if the car is damaged, stolen, or in an accident?

Should your U-Save Car & Truck Rental be involved in an accident, make sure you are in a safe place before you exit the vehicle. Obtain as much information regarding the event as possible and then report the accident to us as soon as is practicable. If the vehicle is stolen, report the theft to local law enforcement as soon as possible and then call us.

Can I return my rental at a location different from where I picked it up?

Rentals must be returned to the  U-Save Car & Truck Rental location it was picked up from. Generally, U-Save Car & Truck Rentals may not be returned to any non-U-Save Car & Truck Rental location, besides previously approved body-shops due to an insurance claim.

Can I travel to Canada or Mexico in a U-Save Car & Truck Rental?

No, U-Save Car & Truck Rentals are for use only inside the continental U.S.

Can I rent an SUV from U-Save Car & Truck Rental?

Yes, U-Save Car & Truck Rental has a variety of large passenger vehicle options including SUV's and vans.

Should I bring a child seat with me or will the rental location furnish one?

U-Save Car & Truck Rental does not provide child seats at this time.

Yes, all U-Save Car & Truck Rentals are smoke free.

What to do in case of an accident?

Move to a safe place and report the accident to the police, if necessary. Obtain all the information possible and report the accident to us as soon as is practical. For your safety: Do not drive a damaged rental car.
